Whooa, now you've learned your lesson,- glad you've got the place straight -we've all been in pickles before, and I'm not going to judge you- if it was me - I would say i broke them, apologise unreservedly, and offer to replace them. Your mum will probably say they are irreplaceable, but its worth a go. It will be tricker if the glases are normally on display. But if they are used regularly and kept in the kitchen, it will be more plausible. In my experience, denying everything will make you look more guilty. If you own up to something small, then they'll miss the big thing (the party, the drnken girls...) - I would say that you asked a mate over and you got drinking and you are really sorry - keep an element of the truth in it - and you will be out of trouble much sooner! It could be all the cars parked outside that a neighbor saw, it could be the mother of 1 drunk teling yours, it could be a sideways statement from you 10 years down the road. Where were the wine glasses? She's not going to believe you cleaned the house and dropped them so don't even go there. If they were way in the back of a cupboard somewhere she might not notice they are gone and you will have time to replace them. I think there's a place online called replacements.com where they can be replaced. Take a photo of the one you have left and contact them. If the glasses are usually out where she's going to notice they are gone you're in big trouble.

I have done this many times before!! Depends on your house but I would say that I opened the cupboard and they fell out... or if you are a good child say that you was cleaning out the cupboards and you accidentally broke them... either way good luck... you may end up grounded for some time!
