Drumsticks for a drumset?

When it comes to drumming on a standard drum set, what size of sticks is usually best? I have some 5A Hickory's by Pro-Mark, but was wondering what you would suggest for a rock style of drumming? No jazz, drumline, orchestra, or crap like that.

i dabble with drums and i use 2B's...light yet crack the snare hard......its a matter of personal prefrence tho....give em a try...may work for ya...maybe not...try diffrent sizes till ya feel comfortable with em....and avoid nylon tips for saftey reasons....i got pinged with one in the eye when it flew off...its not pleasant
