It seems that the font on my computer is a bit blurry. Can it be fixed?
I'm running Windows XP and was wondering if there is a way to fix it from looking so blurry. My computer is a Dell and haven't had any problems with it but noticed this recently. I've already worked with the monitor buttons to degaus it and don't see any difference. Can anyone help? (and it's not my glasses)

Do u have a CRT screen or TFT? if u have a CRT then check if the "clear type" is on, because this setting is only suitable for tft screens. Right click on your desktop, properties, appearance, effects., uncheck "use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" or select standard.
There are also a lot settings on your monitor, like degauss, but it is better to restore it to factory settings (there must be a settting like this in your monitor's meny that resets it).
Good luck! if anything bad happens i am not responsible! lol

check the alignment on you monitor...some modern monitors allow you to set the individual colours..i.e focus each color separately..you might find you need to readjust one or more colours..
