What would you do when you wake up an America is gone in 2010 with a constitution based on Russia?

It's a scary thought but it would have been nice to see the other guy speak. I don't think as an American people we will allow this to happen. I believe that the U.K decides what parts of the U.N it wishes to engage. Like for instande they still use the Pound. So I;\'m not so sure that this will happen in America.

Well, I have seen enough of parts of it to believe some of it is in true at least as far as trying to have talks so far allong that by the time an actual vote it held on any piece, it will seem too far along to stop.

However, note that France, for example, did NOT ratify the EU Constitution, and I figure if they can do it, so can we. Or not do it, as the case may be. The EU Constitution was also fairly far along.

I don't agree about the Communism part. I think the whole point of it to the elite is that it breaks up the bargaining power of even our most basic worker units - those at a national level. With each worker competing against the poorest worker in the poorest country for wages, just think how 'efficient' the capital market can be.

I will be very impressed that we were able to amend the constitution in such a drastic way. It takes a super-majority of the congress, plus ratification in most of the states. If there is that kind of buy in, then I guess that's how a democratic republic works.
