You probably put too much butter or salt on it. I only use enough butter to pop it in, and I toss jalepeno peppers in it, it's great. If I don't have jalepenos, I put fresh ground black pepper on it.

when u taste it u start getting tired of that taste and the pop corn starts getting nasty!
