Anyone else tired of the negative campaign ads?

Amazing how they are lies or extreme exagerations of the truth. Is everyone's record really that bad that they cannot run off it and be positive?

Update:

Speak of the Devil. The Republican party just bashed the Democrat running for Congress! And it was all lies. Even the local Republican columnist has said the commercials are not true. He used the term "blatant lies" when he talked about the commercials. Enough!

Update 2:

I have heard one negative that was actually really funny. It's a telephone message from the President for a Republican congressman and the President is thanking him for not asking any pesky questions about Iraq and the deficit. Negative, but a little humor goes a long way.

More than you know. Wouldn't it be great to see a campaign run on just facts and goals of the person running for an office. NO personal or discriminating comments what so ever allowed by the opposing candidate. Open debates with guidelines ruling conduct on both parts? That I could handle and that I would welcome!

Do any political ads, negative or positive tell the truth? There's usually some truth in all political ads but at least the negative ones tell me if a politician did something really bad like not pay taxes, hangs out with the mob, commits adultery, etc... Those things may not be pleasant but I'd like to know about them and I can check them out to see if they are true or not.

I've been tire of the mudslinging for at least 6 months now. That sounds about right. Nothing positive to rely on. All that and spending millions on the dirty campaign. Sad really. Pathetic.

It it's a truthful negative ad, it's fine. People should know a candidates voting record.

If it's a lie or exageration, I don't like it.

I for one am so tired of the negative ads that I have decided not to vote in Nov. I just can't stand the back stabbing. And to think we actually vote for the people who do it. It's not right.
