How do you get the smell of urine out of carpet?

My daughter's room smells like pee and I have tried all sorts of carpet solutions to get it out; but have failed at doing so.

Try using Nature's Miracle. It is an odor and stain remover for pet stains. It can be used on carpets and the pad underneath.

It does not have a perfume smell and it does not cover an odor--it removes it using some kind of enzymes.

The best part about the stuff is it is designed to get rid of urine odor so not even DOGS can detect it---and their noses are so much better than ours.

I have used it on pee stains from a puppy and a two-year old child whose pulls-ups got pulled down:) I've also used it on a vomit spot (also the kid) and it wiped the smells out completely.

You can get it at most big pet stores. Follow the instructions exactly.

    Good luck.

PS Check and make sure the smell hasn't gotten into other fabrics in the room which may need to be treated, too.

I used a solution of white vinegar and water. 3 parts white vinegar to 1 part water. The problem may be that the urine is in the carpet padding. If that is the case, then you may never be able to get the smell out permanently.

When my dog was a puppy I had a similar problem. I found a product called Urine-off. It is not cheap, but it is an excellent product and does exactly what it claims
