Ladies on birth control. Please tell me- How do you remember to take your pill the same time everyday?

I had a sports watch. I just set the reoccuring alarm for the same time. It was funny, because after a while my friends would be like "Hey, did you forget your pill??"

1. Routinely take just before going to bed at night, 1-2 hours difference won't make any difference.

2. Pin up the pills at a place where every night before you go to bed you will definately encounter with it (e.g. your nighties)

3. Need to be very discipline.

4. Choose other methods if you still cannot comply with daily pill taking- recommending intrauterine device.

make it a habit to take as soon aas you wake up. If there are no children around the house put them next to something you use everydey, like brushing your teet........... Or you could also get the shot or the patch that you wouldn't have to worry about forgetting, they even have an new b/c it's called nuva ring, the dr puts it in and it stays for 30 days then you go back to the dr after 30 days and it getd taken out w/ a fresh new one.

Right before going to bed at night, since I usually went to bed at the same time every night.

Do you brush your teeth every morning before work/school? Keep your pills with your toothbrush. I never had any trouble taking them even if it was a couple hours off, but I have a very regular cycle and am careful.

I have a reminder on my phone that lets me know to take it the same time every night.

I always forgot to take my pill. I use depo-provera. I don't have to remember any pills. Good Luck!
