Have you received any emails about your computer sending out worms with your email?

You made the right decisions, very proud of you. First of all, no one will ever send you a legimate email stating that your machine is sending emails containing viruses. As you already know, when you see that the email has an attatchment (paper clip icon), DO NOT OPEN IT. Also, you'll notice the update number kb-6890. Windows updates use the letter "K" as the first letter in the update files, leading you to believe that it's an update from Microsoft. Trust me, You'll never, ever get an update file from Microsoft in your email. The story of the Wooden Trojan Horse, sneaked into an unexpected crowd by disuising itself as something else. Trojans and their varients use the same system to trick you into clicking on their "Great Looking File" and then put the whammy on ya. If it's an Email worm, it will copy itself hudreds and even thousands of times on your hard drive and send copies of itself to all of your friends on your Messengers Friends List, and then their friends, etc etc. Awesome comment. Too bad there are people out there who like to play games and try to scare us. Just use a good antivius protection, keep it updated. scan for virus regularly and make sure it is set to scan your email, messengers, internet, and everything that you have coming into your computer.. There is a place for exceptions too allow certain things to come in such as files from messengers, your ISP if needed. etc... Now if your virus scan is working properly and it was a virus it would not let you read the mail. Or would not have allowed it to enter your puter... :)

That email is bogus and you will be infected if you click the link. It is just trying to fool you into thinking is is legit and use that number to resemble a Microsoft Security Update.

DO NOT OPEN THAT FILE! if you have a virus scanner program, make sure it is up to date and scan your computer. if you don't have one. go to www.commandondemand.com and use the free online scanner. this free one will tell you if you have a virus, but you have to pay for them to delete it. but at least you will knwo if you are infected.

delete it and don't even dare open it or risk losing your computer to a worm virus.

This could be a scam! Be wary of e-mails like this!
