Appalling? If they don't do that, everyone at qantas will be out of job.
This airline is a model of inefficiency, hiding behind government protection and providing substandard service.
In the long run, outsourcing is good for them. Or they may outsource everything, even the operational parts. Just be an airline in name. Hahahaha.
