Do you think people should demonstrate a basic knowledge of govt to be allowed to vote?
It weems to me most people can't even name the three brances of government, their Senator or Rep. some don't even know the name of the Vice President. How can thesemake aneducated vote.

NO.I think anyone who registers to vote is sincere in doing so & knows who or what issues they want to vote for..Demonstrating for anyone is rather demeaning to the public as well infringment on our rights to vote in general.

Not until the people running for office demonstrate an ability to care about our "middle class" or what is left of it.

well maybe ! I think that they should let some not all people with basic knowledge to the govvernment allowed to vote because the people who have basic kowledge are very smart ! at least in my oppinon !

No. Any restrictions on voting would be manipulated in to an advantage for the incumbents

I quite agree...where else could you express an opinion with no knowledge of the subject? Mind you ,it would probably ban 99% ofvoters!

I would agree - if and only if the same test were to be applied to anybody standing for public office.

they should be the same with parents before to have kids not let the people who does not have instruction to have kids, they are not gonna be able to help them with homeworks, your questions is irrational.
