Do the christians have a corner on the word god? Or are they just more organized with buying domain names?
I was hoping to find something more representative of all religions when I looked up god.com, god.net, and god.org ...
Spirit.com is a link list, Spirit.net is a french real estate site, and spirit.org is christian based... and creator.com is "under development", creator.net is also a space holder, and the other domain redirects to a hate group....
I can't really think of any other religion-transcending synonyms for the word and concept of "god".
... but I thought "God" transcended religions- atleast the literal meaning of the word :-)
Really, this was just a typo trying to go shopping on the site dog.com for some pet supplies ... but now I'm curious :-P

Maybe I'm dense, but I don't understand the question. Or rather the NEED for the question.
Every person in the world can register and use the domain name as they see fit. But they have to be wary of any and all "laws" affecting a domain name's usage, especially trademark laws and those of your domain provider's service agreement.
No one has absolute exclusivity to a domain name, nor does anyone have greater rights to it than its current name holder.
