Anyone know much about chaparral?

I know it's a plant, and it can help boost the immune system? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Chaparral..also known as larrea tridentata in latin is a verstaile herb that American Pioneers learned about from the Native American Indians. Chaparral contains a powerful antioxidant.(Antioxidants prevent free radicals in the body from doing damage to normal cell growth ) They help in slowing the growth of tumors and even retards the aging process. Chaparral helps the body ward off infection ,fights parasites, useful for urinary tract infections, and diarrhea. As an inflammatory Chaperral also relieves pain and swelling caused by arthritis and rhuematisim. It also can be used to help rid the body of excess water weight. Externally it can be used on wounds and injuries. I hope this helped you somewhat. :)

It is one of the Earth's oldest plants and has been used in Native American remedies for centuries. Chaparral has been used for rheumatism, arthritis, stomach pain, cancer, and the common cold. The plant contains immune stimulating polysaccharides and antioxidants. Chaparral seems to attack the virus and enforce the immune system with antioxidant flavinoids.
