Why is everyone scared to drink water out of their tap? Ok some areas may have 'sketchy' water, so why don't people buy a water filter?

With all this concern with our environment, why don't people help? Just because company's mass produce them, doesn't mean we have to support them and buy what they make/sell.

What can i use to get rid of my awful looking black dingy nails?? The color eventually wears off my hands (i wash my hands a lot throughout the day) but my nails....what can i do about my nails???

I was being lazy and didn't get my gloves when applying a demi gloss...i didn't think a demi would stain so bad! Note to self....

My left shoulder blade/back has been killing me for over 3 days now. Do those back pain relievers really work?? The pain is becoming unbarable. I think i hurt it working out, or from sleeping funny.

Ok so my boyfriend bought a truck off is brother. All i know is that it's a 98' F150. When the truck is idling (it's automatic) it's shaky. And when driving it feels funny, especially when u get to higher speeds, very jumpy in the gears it seems. My bf thought it was the fuel pump, his brother looked at it, and said no, it wasn't the fuel pump.

I know we need to go to a mechanic but heck, this is yahoo answers!! Help please! Would be nice to have an idea of what we might be spending to get fixed.

We don't call up our doctor and ask him/her over the phone. Even if we're sick we actually have to physcially get our butt's off the couch, and go see someone. What's with all the medical questions?

My boyfriend got a lil mad at me because he could feel he was starting to get sick, and wanted to buy some Cold Fx. I told him it was a waste of money and not to bother. Am i right???

I'm cooking dinner in the crock pot, and the recipe called for 1 teaspoon of thyme....i thought i'd add an extra dash, which accidently turning into an extra teaspoon. Is there anything i can do (besides doubling the recipe!) to dilute the flavour? Or is thyme not too potent so i don't have to worry? - Thanks in advaced, i'm a rookie in the kitchen

I went to abc.com to watch Ugly Betty (bf was watching the hockey game...sigh...) and i found out abc.com only lets United States residents watch reruns online (i'm Canadian, this sucks - doesn't suck being Canadian until this very moment in time).

So asides from abc.com, where could i find Nov 9th episode of Ugly Betty?

Okay i use to think not too poorly of Madonna, until i watched Dateline. Apparantly the father of her adopted father said he not have ANY financial support, instead take his son?!?!?!?

Who doesn't think she's a lying SOB and NEVER offered the father that choice, but was selfish and rather 'pick' the cutest boy?
