I got a mail saying that I am a lottery winner. After some form filling process the authority claiming $875 for A BANK ENDORSEMENT AND PROCESSING/TAX CHARGE. Is the winning announcement is true? Or fraud.

never give any of your personal information
If you have then you need to change all details asap

CONGRATULATIONS - I think you have just become part of a 4-1-9 scam. The scams originated in Nigeria, and they will try to get from you:
1) As much personal information as you let them have;
2) As much money as you are willing to pay.
They will keep feeding you with what seems like official forms and letters, and payment will always be postponed untill you have given MORE information, or paid more.
If you do not believe me, pay the $875, and you see you will still receive nothing. REPORT THEM TO INTERPOL.

There is always somebody trying to get hold of our hard earned cash. If you need to pay over any to get your hands on more it is undoubtedly a scam.

The older ur email id, the more chances of u getting such mails. Please beware and not waste time. No one gives away money for free.
