Yes and no.Depending on when your cycle started as an adolesent, you start to go through "the change".If you started at a young age, then it comes sooner, and vice versa.I started in my mid forties. It didn't just disappear...but got lighter, and lighter...then it would show up,last a day or two,and be done. Then it would be regular for a month or two,or more, then it would be gone, for a month or more, and out of the blue..there it is.This last time,it didn't show for around six months...then,plug,pad,and a bucket! It totally sucks, because you never know "when",or "where"! One of the biggest "pains" about it is that you still get the retention, irritibility, and all the GOOD stuff that goes with it.So you gain weight, and have the tenderness, and the whole nine yards. You should consult your doctor, about it though, because you can have the same symptoms, and have an undetected tumor that needs to be removed before it causes further medical problems. You will also need to know if you will need any vitamin supplements.I was told that they don't like to start hormone replacements, any sooner than they have to,because menopause can be a long process for some women, and if started too early, hormone supplements become ineffective after a while. Some women go through it with little or no problems at all,but others will need calcium, iron, potassium, etc. The "Hot Flashes ",are a real HOOT ! But I have found that if I stay away from the "white" food group,it seems to help some...(white bread, rice, white potatoes, etc)So I substitute, wheat bread, and sweet potatoes etc.,and eat more fruit, and vegetables.

Yes, you're going through menopause. You might want to contact your gyn for some hormone therapy, but you're doing what every women of your age does. When it's over, you'll be happy as a lark! Godloveya!

It's probably menopause, but do take another blood test for pregnancy, just to be sure.

Yes, it is called pre-menapause. I started going through menapause when I was 36 due to a partial hysterectomy when I was 21
