Anybody tried the prescription weight loss pills?

I'm talking more about the appetite suppressants - like Meridia - not the fat-blockers. Did it work? How well? How long did you take it? And did the weight stay off once you stopped the pills?

Or, got something else that worked to suppress appetite?

    how about trying to eat 6 small meals a day ..so you won't get hungry ..make healthy food choices and watch out for bad carbs

    ...drink lots of water like 8-10 glasses a day = 1 cup of liquid equal a glass..add Lemon or lime slice if you don't like the taste of it plain

    go for a plain old walk for 30 minutes twice a day I go for a walk in the morning and in the evening after dinner... I have lost 30 pounds in two months :o) ...was slightly over 200 pounds :o(

    if you do it on your own and learn to eat right and in moderation ..it will be something for the rest of your life and not worry about gaining the weight back ...why jeapordies your life and health ..god only knows what's really in any of those pills...look what happened with phen - fen ..i've tried other things over the years ... like hoodia..with no results..except i got fatter .. :o(

    watching a friend getting fatter.. 2 1/2 years after gastric bypass surgery ... :o(
