Why does anyone bother asking a question if they don't want a real answer (see details)?

I see your point and i under stand.i am disabled and i have a grandson who is autistic and has fragile x, some people are just prats.

wow everyone is so serious huh why get at the asker some of the answers are pretty near the mark too but if you developed a sense of humour you could see some are quite funny also! its not like they are out there shouting these things in peoples faces is it its jus a bit of a giggle really. i have a friend who is severely disabled and he does alot of voluntary work at special needs clubs that he calls dribbler clubs does this make him a bad person? i think not he is crippled with MS and still devotes all his time to helping others what he is doing is having a laugh you should all try it

Unfortunately it is school half term so you will have a lot of very young and stupid juveniles logging on to this site who think it is funny to give stupid answers just to see what reaction the questioner has to their silly answers. Be patient, wait until they go back to school when, hopefully, because of their homework load, not so many of them will have the time for Yahoo Answers.

Alot of people here merely for tomfoolery. Seems to me, this site is good for shallow questions, personal questions ... y'know general stuff. Anything that requires a specialist answer is not answered, gets lost and before someone logs on who knows anything ... the answer is closed (aka resolved) and you don't get your answer. I still like the place though, with all it's flaws!

People give low ratings without reason, if they can't read or understand the question. You're quite right, the author of the question probably didn't understand the words he used in that answer so thumbed it down.

Takes all sorts I'm afraid, i get thumbs down all the time wether the answer is good or bad, doesn't seem to matter what you say, someone won't like it. don't lose any sleep over it. Some people get wound up over the strangest things.

some people on here are rude...there not here to help or ask real questions- they want points - this is a great site for those of us that use it correctly.... never take anyones opinion personally...nobody on here is a professional or we wouldnt be wasting hours upon hours at work playing around on this site. right?
