After a medical office interview, do I send a thank you letter by email and snailmail?

i'd do it by snail mail. much more classy (they get emails all the time, but how often do they get a card in the mail?), and these days the regular mail is fast enought that it really doesn't make much difference in time.

  • Always use Post Office mail and address your thank you letter to the person you interviewed the same day. You can start your letter the day before on Word on your PC and then add in the details of how you'd fit the job if you forgot to add anything during the interview. Let them know you are available immediately.

Regular mail is a better option, although both are acceptable. I would use regular mail, email is easily deleted but most people will open their regular mail if it is addressed to them. And snailmail only takes one or two days now.

U.S. Postal Service. For any interviews you must submit the thank you this way. It is more professional.

    both.

taking the time to handwrite a message shows your gratitude for the opportunity and speaks well of you as a candidate.

give yourself the best shot possible.
