    He wasn't thinking as usual

President Bush was out jogging one morning along the parkway when he tripped, fell over the bridge railing and landed in the creek below.

Before the Secret Service guys could get to him, three kids, who were fishing, pulled him out of the water.

He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they wanted.

The first kid said, "I sure would like to go to Disneyland." George said, No problem. I'll take you there on Air Force One."

The second kid said, "I really need a new pair of Nike Air

Jordan's." Bush said, "I'll get them for you and even have Michael sign them!"

The third kid said, "I want a motorized wheelchair with a built-in

TV and stereo headset!!" Bush is a little perplexed by this and

said, But you don't look like you are handicapped."

The kid says, "I will be after my dad finds out I saved your *** from drowning!"

    xxxxxx

    Har har har.

I cannot speak for him, but I was thinking how the hell could this have happened on so big a scale?

I saw the smoke from the twin towers and kept wondering why we couldn't have stopped it. How did our intelligence fail? Then I felt a great sense of nationalism that we all must unite to capture or kill the people responsible.

I now know why the intelligence failed, and feel used that the Bush Administration has put us in Iraq instead of concentrating on getting Al-Quaeda and Bin Laden.

I'm sure his reaction internally was the same as all of ours.. oh ****!!... he is human after all.. and just because i don't agree with his policies or the way he handles the war doesn't mean i should forget that he is human.. and at that an American. I've never supported Bush.. but i do feel sorry for him.. he was handed a bad hand (and i don't mean from Clinton.. i mean some bad stuff just happened) and it's hard to bluff when you have deuce seven down (all my texas hold 'em fans will understand that) in other words he was sad and angry and possibly over/under reacted (depending on what specific event you talk about) and has made some very bad calls with what he believed to be good intention. and to me his greatest failure (though many would disagree with me on this) is that he has failed to represent his people with dignity and morality.

Seriously what kind of question in that? I cannot say what he was thinking... I am not Bush. I can say though that he has done an awesome job at "presidenten" as somebody so harshly called it. He was probably thinking about what to do. He's got a huge responsibility as the head of this country. And, I for one think he handled 9-11 the best way possible.

Judging by the look on his face in the clip from Fahrenheit 9/11,

"What should I do? Why won't anyone tell me what to do?" (More than anything, he looked like a spoiled eight-year-old boy who was sulking because he didn't get his way.)

It wasn't until a few hours later that he thought "Perfect! This gives me an excuse to invade Iraq, ignore the Constitution, and order those in my command to torture and rape at will."

Strictly speaking, this question should have gone in the Polls and Surveys category.

"I don't know what to do. I think I'll sit here for another 9 minutes, maybe it will go away. Presidentin' is hard. I know, I'll just get on my plane and fly around and hope Dick can handle it. No speaking to the country til I know I am safe. I hope they have a change of underwear on the plane."

He was thinking, "If I show what I'm really feeling, all of these little children are going to be scarred for life. I'd better finish this story."

Which is what any responsible adult would be thinking.

"Uh huh. Everything is going as planned."

Take a look at the video and tell me that's not how it appears.

After the initial shock , probably "Oh My God....".

It looked like guilt to me, but what is more important is why he sat there for 7 minutes. That is impeachable, if you ask me, and quite disgraceful.
