I found a bullet hole in my blazer and i have the bullet, is there any way to identify for insurance?

Unlike TV, It not that simple. They may be able to tell the caliber & they type of gun from the markings. So then they find it's a 30-30. But the are milions of 30-30's in the US. It ends there......

As for the Insurance? Depends on your deductable. I doubt a this is a $500 fix. Unless you want a pannel replaced and painted. I had a Dent in my Mother's car after one New Years night of people shooting in the air. I just cursed for a few minutes & moved on.......

I would call the State Game commission. If somebody violated the safety zones (In my state you must be 200 yds from any house) You can get the persons hunting licence pulled & fined.

The deer hunt for kids with guns in your town? Thats pretty cool. Do the deer have a bag limit? Do the kids havr to be with an adult for the deer to get them? Where is your small hick town because I have a deer that wants to hunt some youths.

if you suspect someone then you got a shot, i read that each gun leaves a unique mark on the bullet. howeverif you can't get your hands on the gun you got squat.
