Well it has pissed alot of people off, me included saying that only stupid people are fighting in the military. When actually we have a very smart group of people over there that volunteered to return when there tour ran out and they are not drafted to be there.

The Dem's just want to run and let the terrorists follow us back to America. We have to stay and we cant have a democrat in office or we will have terrorist in our back yard instead of in Iraq or Iran. Why can the Dem's understand that. Bush has done a tremendous job at protecting this country and no Dem could ever hold a candle to Bush. I hope more Dem's stand up and run there mouth about the war. They don't stand a chance of getting the white house back so don't worry about it.

Kerry said, "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Liberals are now claiming he was talking about President Bush.

Nowhere did he mention the name of President Bush. His insult was directed just at our nrave troops.

He never did apologize. Republicans need to realize that liberals hate the military. If we allow Congress to be overtaken by the Democrats, we will surely see this war underfunded and our brave troops left without the tools to keep them safe or to win the war.

I doubt that it will have any impact on the election, even with the neocon media shouting about at the tops of their shrill little voices.

Kerry put his foot in his mouth, no argument. So that's one for Kerry, and how many hundred for Bush?

Unlike Bush, Kerry is a combat veteran, so I'm sure his comment, which I have only seen out of context, was not intended to insult troops serving in Iraq. As for an apology, if he feels he insulted the troops, he will apologize, if as I took it he meant that if you are an uninformed voter you will end up with cheerleaders like Bush sending you overseas to die he probably will not. If Bush is insulted, good, he deserves to be in prison, not just insulted.

Happily both parties have enough negatives to cancel-out.

Unfortunately, voters all too often vote viscerally rather than cerebrally. The morals issue plagueing the GOP recently might well be trumped by the stupidity of one John Kerry.

    Good greif! Doom looms.

Well, Kerry and Bush went to the same university, but Bush scored higher on academics. Bush is also the first and only president to have a masters degree. Kerry doe not.

But liberals do not want to be confused with "facts". They simply run their mouth without putting their brain in gear and all kinds of diarrhea spews forth. They want to criticize Bush but have no viable alternative plan. Liberals are afflicted with the "Chicken Little syndrome"; they think the sky is falling. Wake up people, it is Oct-Nov, it is leaves from the tree falling! A good dose of ExLax would help clear liberal thinking.

I am also amazed at the kids in college who fall under the spell of "professors" who are socialistic minded; socialism is a proven failure. Capitalism does work as it gives financial incentives to produce positive results. That has been borne out consistently since Regan began the reduction of taxes. The top 5% pay 60% of all taxes. And we give "tax refunds" to people who never paid into the system, who do not create jobs or product that leads to employment? No wonder illegal aliens are heading to our country en mass.

By the way, 70%+ of the military historically have been, and still are Republican voters. Scarey thought for liberals, no doubts about it, that Republican voters are willing to lay their life on the line for your right to have mindless diarrhea of the mouth, full blown "chicken little syndrome".

    So just who is smarter?

I think the Republicans were going to win anyway, but hopefully Kerry sealed the deal. Such contempt for the military and he thinks he should have been Commander and Chief? He should stay in his elitist bubble and never come out.

I think he thinks it will win back the democratic voters support (so many of his former supporters now hate him for conceding so soon and not keeping promises to fight for the voters and ignoring the massive vote fraud).

He is trying to get these supporters to work their tail off for him again so he can throw another election for those who really chose the leaders putting whatever puppet they want in there and preventing a dem who really cares about the country from winning.

I am a far left liberal who worked my butt off for this person. Never again.I

Source(s): And I deisagree that most of the military os repulican. Most are from the ranks of the poor with few other options for education another lie from the right.

Everyone knew what he meant. A lot of young men go in the military to get an education. They don't have enough money or their familys don't to send them to college with out help.

the military is a good way to get that help with an education.

So poor familys have more sons in the military. Not because they are stupid but to get an education. But to get that education they have to go to Iraq first.

Rich familys don't need help so their children go straight into college. There are more middle and low middle class men in the military. Read the stastics. But when they get out they do better because they had to work for their education. If they survive.

    Wake up America !

    Kerry is vomiting again.

  • I hope so but I think a lot of his fellow democrats have the same contempt for the military as Kerry has so the election should not be affected.
