Healthy 9 year old act, is active outdoors. I have never found a tick on her before, I am a little concerned, since I'm not 100% sure I got the entire head of the tic out when I removed it. I did soak the area (around her neck) with rubbing alcohol, she shows no signs of illness. Any opinions as to what else I can do?

This may sound funny but i's not. I was hit on top of my foot with a dart (yes the typical dart board kind) it penetrated a few inches above my toes.
