Are you decorating for the holidays?

I like to decorate to transition from one holiday to the next. For fall I get mums and pumpkins and the like. I have them from mid October until Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving I put up my Christmas tree. I leave it up until New Years Day.

I only decorate for Christmas (Thanksgiving is not a holiday we celebrate in Australia).

I often start out with a theme in mind (all silver, all gold, white &...)

but I have so many great lights, decorations and ornaments (which I add to annually) that I end up with everything out and blazing. It always looks great, neighbours comment and I love it.

Now that the kiddies are grown I only decorate for Xmas, but I go all out..I also have scented oils and fragrance candles burning throughout the house to make it smell like the seasons..My favorite time of year is from Halloween through New Years.. Happy Holidays to all.

No I change my theme<I do not do Halloween, but I do decorate for Thanksgiving in a mild sense, and then Christmas I do alot of decorating, at New Years I sleep!

Yes I am decorating and No I change the theme with each holiday.

Only do I keep some of the same theme with Halloween and Thanksgiving . .like the corn stalks/if the uncarved pumpkins hold out/bails of staw etc.

I start decorating for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving, and we leave it all up till the second weekend in January.

It's just long enough to love it, and just short enough not to get sick of it. I love decorating for the holidays, but hate the "naked" feeling it gets when it comes down in January.

I did decorate for halloween and I do change the theme for ech holiday.

yes my mom will start decorating like in 2 weeks or so my house will look very nice. sometimes my mom changes the decoration

We change four to five times a year. Winter, fall, spring, summer and one my daughter gets to pick out special--something like Dora, or pink flowers or whatever...I buy those little plastic sticker thingies to put on the windows....she loves them!

I change, but christmas is when i go all out .
