A boil grows under the skin and is usually very sore when touched. To get rid of them or bring them to a head use some type of hot compress - a hot towel (as hot as you can stand it) will usually do the job.

It usually means there's some type of infection in the body whether that be a cold, fever, etc.

superficial skin infection. treatment depends on how big they are and how often they occur- usually drainage of the pus +/- antibiotics

Boils are usually quite deep. You sure you don't mean some type of acne? if so it is usually a good thing to see a skin specialist.

Some skins are more prone to that type of infection- pores get clogged.

If you mean real boils, then this is definetly surgeon territory

boils are basically small pockets of infection. it usually has nothing to do with how clean or dirty you are. some times they are part of a skin condition called deep cystic acne....there are medicines you can get from a dermatologist to help you with them. they are painful and can be embarrassing...

Boils are ingrown hair follicles. They need to be allowed to mature and not be picked at

they are caused by infections in the underlying part of the skin....usually they need antibiotics to keep them from returning....sometimes they need lanced in order to drain the infection and get rid of them quicker....

Your face gets dirty and you don't wash it so it gets inside your pours.
