We are trying to have a baby, but my husband smoked pot for several years does it lower a mans sperm count??

I've gotten pregnant twice by two men-both smoked pot every day for several years. I know many people who have had no problems conceiving after smoking pot, so I would say this is an urban ledgend.

my husband has done pot for over 10 years everyday and we have a 20 month old daughter together and working on the second. Pot does kill very few sperm but it effects motility more than anything

Yes smoking can lower a man's sperm count. He should go to the doctor and get himeslf checked out just to be sure.

Only if he is still using pot. Believe me. I have two brothers and two sisters and my dad smoked pot, still does.

I know alot of guys who were regular smokers (pot) who have children now.

they say it does but i got pregnant with my son and my ex husband smoked weed everyday, then he had 3 more children with 3 other women so it definately didn't make that loser infertile.

Yes it does affect fertility but trust me its still possible!!! My hubby has done pot for YEARS and i have as well. and we have four boys between us and one on the way!!!! Soooo yes it is still a very possible thing!!! Just dont ever do it while pregnant and dont let him do it around you while you are pregnant :) GOODLUCK HUNI!
