best choc-chip cookie recipe?

what is the best tasting home-made chocolate chip cookie recipe?? helpp!

    Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

    Ingredients

    (84 servings maybe)

    2 1/4 c All-purpose flour

    1 ts Baking soda

    1 c Butter;or margarine,softened

    3/4 c Lt.brown sugar;firmly packed

    1/4 c Sugar;granulated

    1 pk Instant pudding;4serv.sz.*

    1 ts Vanilla

    2 Eggs

    12 oz Chocolate chips

    1 c Chopped nuts; optional

    Instructions

    *Butter Pecan, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge, French Vanilla, or Vanilla Flavor.

    Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, pudding mix and vanilla in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.) Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake ar 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 7 dozen. In high altitude areas use large eggs and bake 9 to 11 minutes.

    I like to make Mrs. Field's Chocolate Chip Cookies. I got this recipe from a friend and I use it ALL THE TIME!! They are so GOOEY AND EXTREMELY YUMMY!!!

    1 cup (2 sticks) softened butter

    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

    2 eggs

    2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

    3/4 teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon baking powder

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 1/2 cups (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

    -Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    -In a large mixing bowl whip together, butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla extract.

    -In another large bowl mix together, flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.

    -Combine the wet and dry ingredients.

    -Stir in the chocolate chips.

    -With fingers, place golf-ball sized dough portions 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    -Bake 9-10 minutes or until edges of cookies are a golden brown.

    -Let cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes.

    ENJOY!!!!!! Makes 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies!!!!!!

    Chocolate Chip Cookies

    1/2 cup butter,softened

    1/4 cup Smart Balance regular spread (not light)

    1/4 cup Crisco

    1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

    1 cup dark brown sugar

    1/2 cup sugar

    2 eggs

    2 tsp.pure vanilla extract

    2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 tsp.baking soda

    1/2 tsp salt

    1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks

    1-1/2 cups milk chocolate chunks

    1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

    Cream together the first 6 ingredients until light and fluffy.Add eggs,one at a time,beating well after each addition,then stir in vanilla extract.

    Combine dry ingredients well,and gradually add to creamed mixture until well combined.Stir in chocolate and nuts.Bake in a 350 degree oven for 12 minutes or until cookies are just set in the middle.If you like a crisp cookie,bake for 2 minutes more.Bear in mind that all ovens are different,so you need to watch the first batch closely to get them to the texture you like.

    Nestle Toll-House Chocolate Chip Cookies..........The recipe is on the back of the Nestle Semi-sweet chocolate chip package. After they are done baking, let them sit on the pan for 2 minutes, then put into a sealable container, like a cake saver, that has been lined with paper towel. That will keep them soft for up to 2 weeks.

    There are some really good ones over at Allrecipes.com. I made these Jack's Chocolate Chip Cookies and they were a big hit, but there are lots of different recipes on the site.

    Nestle' Tollhouse choc-chip cookies which you can get from this site~www.verybestbaking.com/recipes/detail. I have always loved these cookies~wonderful!! You can also get the recipe from the back of Nestle' chocolate chip bags.

    It is for sure the Toll house chocolate chips that have the best recipe, I make them ever year at Christmas and through the year for friends. I promise you cant go wrong with it,

    Mine's cheating, but they're really good

    Basic Nestles Tollhouse recipe substituting:

    1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup sugar instead of what's called for

    add 1/2 tsp coconut extract

    I'm currently out of cocolate chips, so I don't have the basic recipe in front of me...sorry

    "Nestle's Chunky Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Cookies" - 3 dozen

    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

    1/2 tsp. baking soda

    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

    1/2 tsp. salt

    1/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine; softened

    1/2 cup packed brown sugar

    1/2 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

    1 egg

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    2 cups (12 oz. pkg.) Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

    1/2 cup coarsely chopped peanuts

    Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar and peanut butter in large mixer bowl until creamy; beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and peanuts.

    Drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Press down slightly to flatten into 2" circles.

    Bake in preheated 350* oven for 7-10 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still soft. Let stand 4 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
