what is the worst marriage proposal you have heard of?

I actually have three of them:

A guy I know pretended to be dead and did the whole funeral home thing, so when the girlfriend came to sob by his casket he sat up and asked her to marry him. After she stopped shouting she slapped him and then she said yes.

My brother didn't know how to give the ring to my sister in law so he tossed the little box at her and began running, my sister in law caught the box, saw what was inside and had to chase my brother to say yes.

One of my friends who is a lawyer made a deal with a police officer he knows so that the cops would take his girlfriend to jail for something totally bogus.

After they stopped the girlfriend, read her her rights and took her to jail, they told her she had only one phone call, so she obviously called my friend. When he came into the cell he told her that the only way they would let her go was if she agreed to marry him, and she did...

I think the sports-related proposals are bad - the ones where the couple is at the game and all of a sudden on the big TV screen it asks her name and will she marry whoever. I think those are tacky.

I had a great proposal! After 3 months of dating, my husband proposed to me at a Christmas charity event that he had made pastries and desserts for (he is a pastry chef) in front of a huge room filled with people. I was very surprised but I knew a proposal was coming because 1 month after we started dating, he asked me to go ring shopping with him. Because of his extensive background with pastries and cakes, he even made our wedding cake. So I got really lucky :)

I'm with you! maybe I'll beat your bad proposal with mine.

My now ex-h told me to move out of the apartment we shared, so I did. 11 days later he came back begging for me to move back with him, I told him that I was NOT going to go back to live with him and that I was lady and deserved better. I told him that the only way I would get back to live with him was if we were married. He said: all right, whatever. We got married 3 months later.

How bad was that?

mine from my ex is the best or should i say the worst.....we were in bed one morning and he asked me if i loved him and he told me that he loved me and then told me to get out of bed and get the ring out of the desk drawer, he didn't even get out of bed to get it, i had to do that myself and he didn't even put it on my finger. That right there should have told me what a loser he was.

So since you are knocked up lets get married....
