Does anyone had any experience with Excel-airways?

I flew with Excel last year to Egypt and they were just fine... good actually. I flew with Air France to Mauritius two weeks ago and it it one of the worst airlines i have been with aside from Tarom Airlines [Romanian one]. The meals were awful with Air France, the legroom restircted andf the seating tatty... I certainly didn't feel that way with Excel.

I've travelled with them twice from Gatwick to Alicante.

Both times I was impressed with the professionalism - not that common these days.

The first trip the food was included - then they changed tack and after that you had to pay if you wanted anything - but that's more common now.

Gatwick is not too convenient for me so its not my first choice of airport but if they went from Luton or Stanstead then I would choose them every time.

Travelled with them to Cyprus in June, food was lovely - they actually gave us a meal even though we had not paid for it, we told them but they said everyone got food!! There was plenty of seat room, air hostesses were all helpful and friendly and the flight was fine.

I would definitely use them again!!

Yes a flight to Alicante from London Gatwick.

we travelled to Benidorm with them, didn't get a meal but who needs one anyway, plenty of leg room, very friendly air hostesses, on our return journey we were last on the plane and were still seated together with a window seat, very impressed, i would say the best we have travelled with. Will definitely fly with them again.

they are very nice chewing gum, blackcurrants the best flavour LOLOL.....
