Can I vote at the poll if I am not a registered voter?

Can I register at the polling place?

What do I need my ID and SS card? Would I NEED my birth cert? Because I don't have a copy. Help me out because I want to vote tomorrow and I am not registered yet.

There are some states that are thinking about letting people register the day of the elections, but no state has done it yet. Voter registration is not just for voting. It is used in some states and the federal government to pick you for jury duty. Some candidates on the ballot use voter registration for sending out fliers. Also, in some places, the amount of registered voters determines what district or area a candidate can run in.

In the good old state of Maine you can register the day of the vote. You would need your ID clearly stating your current residence and hometown. I'm not sure on Social Security card.

If your really intent on voting nothing should stop you from showing up and at least asking your local polling booth if you can register there.

Polls advise little or no because of the fact they're relatively skewed via distinctive factors. no longer the least of that are the place, how and of whom you ask the question. How do you realize that any pollreplaced into particularly asked of registered voters? because of the fact they suggested they have been! How do understand what celebration those voters are registered under? because of the fact you asked them! Do you recognize that in case you ask one thousand voters in Dallas Texas the comparable question which you ask one thousand voters in San Francisco that the outcomes would be distinctive? they could state how medical polls are all they prefer, however the certainty is that all and sundry too in lots of cases the outcomes don't greater healthful the poliing records. This calls into questions the relatively validity of polls of which there is quite little.
