Launchcast, streaming video, youtube, all don't work, any ideas?
For some reason I can't get any kind of streaming media to work online. It's driving me nuts. Anyone have any ideas on what might be the offending problem? I should mention that I uninstalled IE7 cause I didn't like it and it looks like the problem started since then. I reinstalled IE7 and the problem persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
To be specific, when I open Launchcast, the window is just grey and doesn't load beyond that. Similarly, if I open a video with any program like Quicktime or Windows Media Player, nothing loads. I don't get any kind of warning that pop-up has been blocked and my friewall doesn't warn me about the content either.
I also have the most recent versions of all these programs.

At the bottom of your browser, there should be a small icon of a gear and a yellow triangle with an exclamation point. Click that and manage your add-ons. You need to allow the new IE7 to embed those players.

So..
Adobe Flash Player is the solution if you see a black screen while you 're watching videos, or if you have other problems watching them on Youtube or on Facebook.
This is a good link for downloading Adobe Falsh Player for free http://bitly.com/1sxSsER

Hey,
sometimes adobe flash player is not properly installed or damaged and can cause problems to your videos. For instance if your videos are not showing up on facebook or youtube probably you don't have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. You should definitely download Adobe Flash Player (get one of the latest versions though) and you are very likely to solve your problem
