What should I expect...?

I'm white as a ghost and decided to go get a tan. I live in Pennsylvania and it's really freezing cold here right now so I won't be laying out by the pool in the yard, so I'm going to a tanning salon. What should I expect for the first time?

    Hello

You should expect to dont go very long your first time. I started out at about 2-5 min. and that for a beginer is more than enough.,

Just take it step by step. Going longer then you should isn't going to speed up anything just set you further back b.c you will be burnt and wont be able to tan for longer time.

    Best of luck to you

I have been tanning for 7 years

    i know my stuff

    good luck

I would suggest that you explain to the technician at your salon exactly what you've communicated here, purchase some good accelerator lotion (it will not only help you tan quicker, it will also provide protection for your skin.....not sunscreen protection but it will help to prevent peeling, sun damage, aging, wrinkling etc.) and do NOT go the full length of the session. Work into it slowly.

Go slow...or you will fry! just a few minutes on your first couple of visits! Just work to get a nice base tan! And, don't go too dark....it's very unnatural for this time of year where you live! Go for a nice subtle, even glow!
