  • 2003/2007 Access Database, Not Working in 2010?

I am working in the IT department of my company, and I have been asked to fix a database. I'm fresh out of school and haven't had much experience with Access programming. A woman created this database in 2003, and left in the same year. She took all of her knowledge with her. This database needs to be compatible with Access 2010, but it is not. It is only compatible with 2003 and 2007. No one in the office is familiar with Access programming. Any help would be greatly, GREATLY appreciated.

The debugger highlighted the code below as being the problem, but I think there may be more once that problem is fixed.

    Me.ManageDate.Today

    Me.frmBusyShift1.Form.Filter = "ScheduleDate=#" & Me.ManageDate & "#"

    Me.frmBusyShift1.Form.FilterOn = True

    Me.frmBusyShift2.Requery

    Me.frmBusyShift3.Requery

    End Sub

  • How do you manage your time?

I have a project about time management in one of my classes and I've searched on the web but really can't find anything so I was wondering how everyone else manages their time when they have busy schedules?

  • Could it be a weakened muscle?

My dog is a 14 month old Rottweiler Lab mix... He just recently got over parvo. Luckily we caught it very quickly and he spent a few intense nights at the hospital. They gave him a billis (sp) under his skin... which they explained was a huge fluid pouch... it felt kinda like a water bra under his skin when I felt it. The reason for the fluid pouches was because one of the biggest reasons dogs die of parvo is dehydration, so it absorbs the fluid as needed. Well, he's home from the hospital and just about 4 days ago (about two weeks after he got home from the hospital) he got a big lump where one of the fluid pouches were. It doesn't hurt him, he lays on it, he'll let you squeeze it. It feels like a pulled muscle, and if you know my dog you know that's very possible. He's so rough and hyper... He walks halfway down the stairs with me and jumps the rest of the way down. He has a vet appointment for vaccines in about 2 weeks so I'm just gonna have them look at it then but I'd like an idea till then. We own both parents, and there's no cancer in the family that we know of... we also know the grandparent dogs and neither parents nor grandparents have had cancer. I was thinking maybe the fluid pouch loosened the muscle and when he was playing rough outside like he always does he pulled it.

  • Parrot laying eggs?

We have had our blue and gold Macaw for 4 years. We always thought he was a male... but today he laid an egg. He's acting normal, but looks bulgy and like he will lay another one. Is there any way that an actual baby bird will come out of the egg? He's never been around another parrot. What should we do with the eggs? Just let them there in case there is a baby or get rid of them? This is our first bird as well so we have no experience with this sort of thing.

  • Decisions Decisions?

My Kodak CX7530 finally died on me. I did love this camera, even though it's not exactly one of the best, I know. It was 5mp, and had close-up mode. Close-up mode is important to me, for some reason... I use it quite a bit. Now, I loved my CX7530, but I'm looking to upgrade. I've narrowed my search down to two cameras... I want point & shoot cameras and my budget isn't exactly high. There's this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MW8GTS/sr=8-6...

and then there's this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-images/B...

I'm pretty sure that both have close-up mode.

  • Wanna Name My Puppy?

I got a puppy and I've never been good with names. My mom wants to call him Mason... but I don't really like it.

He's black, with a white tuft of fur on his chest, and his chin is white, like a milk moustache but on the bottom. Other than that, he's solid black. He has brown eyes, and a long tail. He's a lab mix. He's pretty mellow.

Names I can't use because other pets have them: Jack, Boo, Puggle, Butter (like that would be a suggestion anyway), Jade, Kipper

  • Hmm... such flaky skin?!!?

My cat sheds a lot, and has flaky skin. It's pretty gross. I know he's not diseased, he's an indoor cat and has no exposure to outdoor cats or dogs. He's about 3 or 4 years old. He used to be an outdoor cat, but I raised him and he had all the tests to see if he was healthy when I took him in, because he was in bad shape. I just bathed him and you should have seen the fur. I barely want to touch him because when I do I end up wearing a fur coat. I've searched about this online but only found answers saying he probably had a disease or something, when he definitely doesn't. He used to go to the vet soooo often, the vets know everything about him. What else could it be ? His diet really doesn't change often. Wisker Lickins treats, varieties of Purina food, but mainly Kitten Kaboodle... sometimes 9lives. I have 2 other cats and while one of them does have flakes and sheds, not nearly NEARLY as bad as Boo (the shedder). The other cat is perfectly normal... no excessive shedding, no flakes.

  • Which Is Easiest?

I've been with my boyfriend for 4 years. We live in different countries. I'm American, he's Welsh. We want to make it permanent and move in together and never have to say goodbye again... Should we just get married? Or is the engagement visa easier to get? How long does it take?

  • The Pet Food Recall?

If my dog got sick from eating the Ol' Roy dog biscuits, how long would it take before he showed any symptoms? He ate some of them, but he hasn't had any for like 2 weeks, but he threw up a few times tonight. Before tonight he's not acted sick at all.

No one give answers like "take him to the vet" or "call the vet". I plan to do that anyway, it's just 1am and I'd like to get an idea before I go to bed.

  • Sorta Lost and Confused?

I don't normally tell strangers about my feelings or life... but I'm going to now.

It's like, I can't be happy. My life doesn't seem worth living. When I stand in front of the mirror to put makeup on before I go somewhere I think "what's the point?". I can't really sleep, and I hate the idea of going to sleep and waking up. I hate waking up, because it's the start of another crappy day in my crappy life. I know there's people out there worse off than me, but I think there's something wrong with me. When I'm in a good mood, it's very temporary. Happiness for me, is once in a blue moon, and it lasts about 10 minutes if even. I just barely have the strength to get up in the morning anymore and face reality. I mean, and there's no reason why it should be like this. I've been depressed my whole life. I've never seen a doctor about it. I also have mood swings, one second I'm calm and numb, the next I'm insanely angry. I just need some help.

  • Internet Troubles?

I've been having some trouble for the past couple days. My internet disconnects often, and today it's disconnecting more than it's staying online. When it disconnects my IP address changes to that of a router... and when it reconnects, it changes back to my normal IP address, and I can't figure out what is wrong with it. It's really frustrating because I really need my internet for everything I do. It will let me online a few minutes, and then disconnect again. I wonder if it's a computer problem, or if it's a modem problem. I'm hoping it's a modem problem because I'm having some people come tomorrow to check it out, and if it's a modem problem they can fix it, but if it's a computer issue, they can't.

  • Is It Legal?

I don't know about whether it'd be illegal or legal or not, but... am I able to mail 2 cans of easy cheese? I've done it before, but I've always lied and said it was something else. I want to mail 2 cans of it to my boyfriend for Easter. He loves it, but he lives in Wales, UK currently and they don't have it there. I would be so happy if I could surprise him with it. Let me know please!

If I'm not able to tell the truth and mail it, I'm still mailing it, so any suggestions on what I can say it is? :P

  • About Washing Clothes?

This question might be stupid to most of you, but I'm only 18 and never had any chores growing up... I went to the laundromat to wash my clothes and it was really simple, all you did was throw your clothes in and put in the detergent and pick the temperature... Well, in my house we just got a new washer. It has the settings normal and perm press. I don't know what perm press is, but I have some dress/career pants and the tag says they need to be washed in the delicate cycle. I asked my mom if it would be ok to wash them in perm press cycle and she doesn't know. I don't wanna risk ruining them because I start a new job Sunday and I need them for that. If it matters here is what the fabric is:

    70% polyester

    25% rayon

    5% spandex

  • A question about parrots?

I have a 4 year old Blue and Gold Macaw, he's perfectly healthy, so that's not what this question is about. When I talk to my parrot and he's looking at me and paying close attention, his pupils change size often. When I say words he understands, his pupils get really small. It's really weird to watch. I was just wondering why parrot pupils change size so often.

  • Skin Problem...?

I have oily skin... plain and simple. It's pretty irritating... when I wake up it's really oily and unattractive... I was wondering if there's any product or anything I can buy that helps keep your skin from getting oily, like a long term solution... If not, what other products can I get that are good for my skin, including pimples and ESPECIALLY black heads.

  • What should I expect...?

I'm white as a ghost and decided to go get a tan. I live in Pennsylvania and it's really freezing cold here right now so I won't be laying out by the pool in the yard, so I'm going to a tanning salon. What should I expect for the first time?

  • Blue and Gold Macaw tongue....?

I have a 5 year old Blue and Gold macaw named Jack... He has a black tongue and a black beak and underneath his tongue isn't black... I've never really looked at it before but today he was staring at me with his tongue raised and the light was shining right on it, and I looked at it and it's white and has little black dots. Is that normal? He's not acting differently than he always has, and he's as healthy as he's ever been, I've just never noticed it before and when I searched the internet I couldn't find pictures of bird tongue. I can't get a picture of his either because he tries to bite the camera. Thanks, I know it's a stupid question I'm just slightly concerned and curious.

  • Question about cavities?

I went to the dentist today, because I need a lot of work, and I wanted to start getting it done. Anyway, I have a couple of cavities. The dentist said I have a "3 surface cavity"... what is that? How many surfaces of a tooth is there?? He recommended that I fill that one first, and that one is the most painful one... it gives me headaches sometimes. Anyway, I'm going back to the dentist wednesday for a cleaning, and then I have to get the fillings... But my question is... what is a 3 surface cavity... and how many surfaces does a tooth have?

  • Moving to the U.K.?

Ok.. I've been with my boyfriend over 3 1/2 years now and we want to get married and move in together officially. I am American and I'm 18. We met in November of 2003, and have lived in the same house as each other countless times with no problems. I've read links but I would like more information than they offer. What documents would we need to go to the appointment to apply? What reasons would they have to turn us down? What do we need to get approved? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm 18 and he's 21 if that helps at all. Do I need to go to the appointment with him? I'm so afraid that we will get rejected because he really does mean the world to me and all I want is a future with him. I'm desperate for information so I can be as prepared as possible. Does he need his own house?? Thank you all for reading and answering.

(The country is Wales, and I am from Pennsylvania...)
