Why are people in Colorado so rude?
Been all over North America and lived 5 different states, and have never seen such sour, uptight, complaining, hostile, and otherwise self-centered rude folk. Mostly West of I-25.
I should add that not everyone here is rude, there are some cool people around. It just seems like the percentage of rude people is significantly higher, and gets worse as one goes north. I like the rude answers: it is like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I lived in Colorado for 14 years. Around Denver and Boulder. Then I moved to North Carolina. I will trade you Colorado people for North Carolina people, that's how rude I consider people here! In other words be thankful for your rude Rockie Mt. people.

really? you must have never lived in new york!!
just kidding-- i have a home in colorado springs and the people around there are really nice and friendly, especially around my neighborhood. since it is a military town, we are surrounded by lots of retired military, who are exceptionally friendly, when they are not traveling in their RVs!
i guess its like anywhere else, you can find good people if you look hard enough.
