Someone get together with your grandparents and get 15 facts about them. How they met, where was their first trip together, what is your grandmothers perfume, etc, etc. You write the questions on a sheet of paper, assign each question a set of points (depending on how tough the question is) and make enough copies for all your guests. Then give people 10 minutes to fill in the answers, no cheating. After 10 minutes go down the list out loud asking people for their answers, and letting them know the right one. The person with the most points wins a price. Its a lot of fun, especially with family.

I think it's a good sweet idea to have it on the farm I think it could be really nice with a white tent IF you have any doubt, you could hire a party planner that know how to make the 50th wedding anniversary romantic and elegant I think it could be done very nice The problem I see If it's a surprise party, you will have to get your grandparents off the farm for at least 24 hours

For my parents 30th Wedding anniversary we played a game "How well do you know them?" Make up some good questions from family members and friends about your grandparents. We did one's such as, where were they each born?, What were their first cars?, where they met?, etc. Have fun with it!

Interview your grandparents on their lives together and come up with about 10 questions. Pass out paper and pencils to all guests and ask the questions and tell them to provide the answer they think is correct. For example, "Where did grandma and grandpa meet?" "What was their song?" etc....this will let your guests learn more about your grandparents lives together, and whoever gets the most answers right could win a small prize. Have fun!

Have your grandparents write down facts about them: Where did they meet, where did they go on their honeymoon, name their first pet, their hobbies, etc. and then have your family try to guess the aswers. You can give out a small prize to the person who get the most correct.

Charades is a fun game for a large group.

When our family would get together for holidays we always played charades. Mostly it was all us cousins playing. We used movie titles, book titles, and song titles the most

I think having several different games is the way to go.
