I pay $130 a week for in home daycare for my 5 month old daughter. She is there from 7:30 until 5:00 five days a week. I interviewed other sitters in our area and they charged up to $150 or $175 a week for full time care. The day care facilities in my area (midwest) charged $220 a week up to $300 for a baby or toddler. You charge should depend on your location. Research some day cares in your area as well as in home care. Charge the average of the two! Good Luck!

I paid an in home sitter $125 a week to watch my daughter from age 8 weeks to 18 months old. That is in NJ.

Do you mean to be paid for taking care of someone else's child? My sitter asked $20 a day for my child at that age, for about 9 hrs. a day, 5 days a week.

How much what? Are you asking about the rate of pay for childcare? If so that depends! I would pay about 20$ a day for a quality caretaker but that's the going rate in my area!

In California, the going rate is about ten dollars an hour. If there is more than one child, usually about one to two more dollars an hour per child.

    Like $120-130 a week.

it depends on your experience. some people charge weekly not by hour. It also depends on the income of the parents. if they can afford it they can pay you more. Talk aboout pay before you accept and see if you are comfortable with what they offer.
