Do you think Britney Spears & K-fed divorce is a publicity stunt?

I think she finally realized that if she was going to make any more money (i.e. successful comeback), she was going to have to do what many of her fans had been begging her to do ... Divorce K-Fed. Plus, I don't think their relationship was ever that stable. You just can't fabricate the crazy public fights they had. Things weren't good, even K-Fed said he recently had to get away and party to release the "fustration". Also, right before filing for divorce, she mended the relationship with her old manager, the one who helped start her career. I am sure he also told her what needed to be done to get the ball rolling in the right direction. I don't think the divorce is a publicity stunt, I believe it's very real. However, I do think she is going to ride the media wave to show off her new look and to get her name back in the mags. As far as the ring, why should she take it off? She picked it out, and it was purchased with her money! I feel bad that she and babies have to endure a nasty divorce, but she'll bounce back. One thing is for sure, Britney is very focused and determined on whatever it is that she wants. You don't get as far as she did with out having some sort of drive. I wish her the best.

I agree with Britney spears but I dont think that Ashlee Simpson still has a career after her singing incident. Britney spears and Kevin federline is such a publicity stunt

It probably was to some extent, if for no other reason than how it was disclosed to the public and seemingly few attempts were made to keep it to themselves. But I keep reading that Britney is planning on making a musical comeback. Maybe she finally got the hint that she married a gold-digging loser (or maybe she felt that way for a while but couldn't divorce because she kept trying to keep him around with babies), and wanted to sever things before she started being successful again? Assuming she will be successful again. I mean, I wouldn't want him mooching off of me, either, especially considering that his main contribution seems to be making kinda bad music and having to give concert tickets to his shows to people for free.

Plus, people don't automatically have to take off their wedding rings as soon as the divorce papers are filed.

I wonder who would wanna buy K-Fed's album??? Besides, he even gave out his concert tickets for free LOL..

& I hope their divorce is not a publicity stunt or a hoax or whatsoever... I hope it is true... & thank god Britney has finally came to her senses & realizes that K-Fed is such a loser a.k.a. the biggest fool on the planet & a gold digger... Besides, Britney & every1 around the nation is getting fedup with him...

There are rumours that she has divorced that after Kfed appeared on Monday night Raw they were watching it and she laughed at him and then he went off and started trowing things and put holes in the wall this was the final straw for Brittney who packed up the kids and moved to a hotel for a week before she filed for divorce

Hard to say........Britney is still wearing the ring but then she bought and paid for it so its her's. With the prenup he will get $30,00 a month for a year(one story - it could be longer) Could you live on that ? I sure could and be mighty happy.

Maybe there are some nuts out there that will now race out and grab his album . The world is full of celebrities and losers in this case we are covering all the bases in one family.

That loser can't turn ANY publicity into good publicity for himself! He'll be forgotten soon as the divorce settlement is final.

Prediction: Fed-Ex on VH1 next year in that "reality" show that features all the D-listers.

If it is there's going to be a big backlash, especially against her. I don't think it is - but even if she planned it that way, the whole world will make her divorce him now even if she didn't intend it. Sometimes even in the world of entertainment reality actually bites these people back.

Of course I don't find it all that interesting, but likely he divorced her to get half of the marital property. They live in California, don't they? She never had him sign a pre-nuptual agreement.

Since his career is on the rocks before it even started, he likely wanted to get his hands on her cash.
