What is done with money given in exchange 4 poppies?

I know this money goes to the Royal Canadian Legion, but what happens to it after that?

    It has many good causes. I know in this country some of it funds Stand Downs. Where they get the homeless vets to come in for a ck up and food.

    In the USA, the money goes to support the disabled veterans.
