What does the red dot on the back of my moto. razor mean?
Someone told me that it meant water damage & that Cingular wouldn't replace it or whatever, but I've never dropped it in the water or anything. The only problem I have is a HORRIBLE buzzing in the background during every call.
What do the colors indicate & Will this be a problem if something ever does go wrong & I have to get a new one or whatever??

Yes, this is the liquid damage indicator. When it turns red, means that the phone has been exposed to liquid, not necessarily meaning direct water contact, but it also can happen in especially humid weather. Most wireless companies will void your warranty due to this problem; however, there are also especial circumstances where your provider will make exceptions: manufacturer's problems or defects. Getting insurance for your handset is your best alternative to be able to deal with this type of situation.

yes its water damage it didnt have to be dropped in the water if you put it on the counter when you got a hot shower or maybe it was to humid and it got moist and turned it red either way they wont fix it if that dots red
