as it is more expensive so it must be better, but if your after cheep then

windows vmac is coming in 2008 and it will cost $400.It will be amazing.100 Times better then windows xp.

windows XP Media center edition2005.It has got many feature of sharing photos music and plug and play.but you can wait for vista for untill december end 0f 2006. You are receving new operating system called windows vista.which has got so many new features.
