Hi i have a question about the presidental elections of US. i want to know why do people only think who ever takes up presidency or white house would solve the problems in US. Such as gas prices and etc.

before you answer this question, remember USA GOV is divided in to 3 parts. Congress and senate + white house + supream court. What ever has to take place is decided by the congress and senate. A president can only approve or dissaproove the decission by the congress and senetate. he or she cannot make any laws by themselves. all they can do is give their plan to senate and congress who will dicide on it.

another question is Irag war. everyone critized Bush for taking the troops abord. how ever , He could not have taken a single troop abord if it was decided by the congress and sente Eventhough the president is the commander and chief of USA force.
