This is probably a stupid question, but does anyone how to remove permanent marker from jeans?
My sister's friend scribbled on her jeans with permanent marker. Now she's freaking out about it. She's looked everywhere on the internet to find a way to remove the stain but the best thing she found said to soak it over night, which didn't work.

You can't remove it. That's why they call it "permanent".

There is no FAST way to remove the stain because permanent markers are not supposed to be removed. That said, if you want to take the 6 months to a year, there is a product that I've used that removed permanent ink from a sweat shirt. Look for the STAIN STICK.

You have to boiled milk, very hot in a big bowl, then you put inside the jeans.
You are going to see the diference by the time.
Repeat this every mounth till the marker disapear.

My son did the same thing to his jeans and I tried SHOUT! but it did not work. I heard that maybe some oil free hairspray and some good scrubbing will help REDUCE the mark, but not completely take it away.
Good luck.

I've had good luck with Simple Green. Use it undiluted and rub away at the stain and then drop them in the wash.

When you must remove ink try to spray it with hair spray. It may work for marker but you should spray it as soon as possible

The only adive I could give is buy a decorative patch to cover the stain.
You can find them in any Sewing/Craft store.
