Microdermabrasion for "sun spots"?

OK, I'm a guy who knows knothing about skin. I am also a former lifeguard, swimming teacher, and currently a soccer coach. So, I have spent way too much time in the Sun. As a result, I have a couple of brown spots that I'd like to get rid of.

Will one of those "microdermabrasion" gadgets permit to "polish" them away over time? Or should I just get out the sandpaper? (Just kidding!)

Any suggestions or recommendations will be welcomed. Thanks!

That is an excellent option. You don't need to go to a doctors office for a microdermabrasion. That costs a lot and you end up with highly irritated skin for days. I suggest an at home treatment. It uses the exact same crystals but they arn't being blast across your face at high pressure. Instead you use it 2-3 times a week. It provides the same results.

Another product that is new and is made specifically for sunspots is Even Essence Complexion. It has an ingrediant known as lucentrix qand is clinically shown to reduce and even eliminate sun spots. You'll see results in as little as four weeks. And with continuous use, the powerful results get even better. Used alone or, even better, with the microdermabrasion, you won't be disappointed.

I don't have sun spots but I do have acne scars and I use Ponds Anti-Aging Microdermabrasion Kit. You can find it at Target, Walmart for about $11. It really does work, you'll notice a difference in about 2 weeks.

Microdermabrasion got rid of my acne because it exfoliated my skin better. You can get a free sample of microdermabrasion at this link: http://www.marykay.com/rebeccafox/whatsnew/freesam...

But for sun spots, Mary Kay has a new formula that is designed to make those blemishes go away, it is called "Even Complexion Essence." I know women and men who have rosatia and it's done wonders on their reddish spots on the skin.

Wear the sunscreen from now on! :)

It would help some but it would require having it done several times which can get kind of pricey. i would look into some sort of laser resurfacing or just set up an appointment with a dermatologist and they will help figure out the best treatment for your skin.
