How much should I sell two used hot water heaters for?
Have 2 40 gallon used gas hot water heaters that I want to sell.
The 1994 Craftmaster was just replaced since it was not heating up enough for my wife to take long, long bath, however it was great for showers and short baths.
The 1990 A.O. Smith water heater came with the house, and we have never used it in 3 years. It is used and has been sitting empty. Have no more information on this one.
Seems like a shame to just junk these things since they have to have value to someone. A new water heater is around $300-$400+. These could be a good deal for someone! But how much should I ask (we are in Ohio if pricing for whatever reason is area specific)?
Thanks!

It's against the law and against plumbing code to sell used water heaters.....they both are over ten years old and I would have recommended replacing them anyway....take them to your local recycling yard.....you wont get much for them but they are junk....in this case the term "ONe man's junk is another man's treasure" is bogus! Do not reuse these heaters!
