  • I suck at mw3! Please Help!?

    I am new to multiplayer, and normally play team death match. I have played other cod stories, but not online. I have been playing for a week or so, and average about 1-3 kills with more than ten deaths. I normally can't aim fast enough or get snuck up on. I don't seem to get better. Have been trying to stay to outside of maps.

    Btw, if I have caused ya to lose a match, sorry! Lol

  • How old is too old for a child to come into parents room at night to sleep?

    I have a four year old boy that comes in in the middle of the night. I do not see an issue with it at this time. I assume at some point he will stop. I do not recall being 16 and sleeping with Mommy and Daddy. Thanks!

  • Is it okay that Ex-wife puts Child Safety Door Knob Covers to keep a 4 year old out of her room at night?

    She used to put on his door to keep him in his room. We had numerous 'discussions' about that. I think it is abusive. My son says it makes him sad and scares him. I will not add any more detail so you can give your own thoughts and opinions. Oh, If you think it is wrong please feel free to say how you would address it with her. She does not communicate so well about things to put it nicely. Thanks in advance!

  • Do the magnets on magnetic money clips wear out?

    About to buy one, but wondering if the magnets are strong enough to hold cash and if they will wear out.

    (It appears demagnetizing credit cards is not an issue.)

    Thanks in advance!

  • What to do about rental insurance?

    I am about to rent my current home (primary residence) when I buy another house. I was told by many not to refinance my current into a rental mortgage (this includes a mortgage broker). I would refinance it, but most say that would simply be a waste of money at this point. Most say as long as the mortgage is paid no one will care or find out. The concern of course is if the lender finds out it is a rental the note becomes payable in full.

    2 questions:

    1. I do not want to set off any flags, but I need to have rental insurance rather than my standard home owners policy on the property in case something happens. Right?

    2. If I change my mailing address for the bank and taxes to a PO Box will that set off any alarms? This is one way cities determine what properties are rentals (if the tax billing address is different than the property address).

    If you have advice or have done this before please let me know. I think Many say that I am being overly cautious. I just do not want to get stuck.

    Thanks!

  • What to do if tenant says they will not leave when lease is up?

    I have a tenant whose lease is up at the end of month. Notice was sent that the lease will not be renewed a month ago. This house will not be available after the lease (being sold). The tenant does not know the situation with the house, but does know that the lease cannot be extended.

    How do I get the tenant out by the end of the month?

  • What hardware to ship to comply with eBay and Microsoft OEM Software policy?

    Have an extra OEM version of Office 2007, and notice that most on EBay listings state something like "To comply eBay and Microsoft OEM policies, miscellaneous "as-is" non-peripheral computer hardware component will be shipped together with this package."

    Not sure what they ship, but would like to make sure I am not violating any terms of service.

    Thanks!

  • How to wire power for a wall mounted flat screen TV with an external surge protector?

    Just wall mounted my flat screen, next I will be installing outlets for A/V and power behind the TV (hidden). My question is how to best wire the TV through an external surge protector. My thought is to wire an outlet from the wall for the TV to an outlet at floor level (where other outlets are). Then power that outlet from the surge protector. Not sure if that is extra work, but seems running the existing power cord for the flat screen behind the wall to the surge protector is a bad idea (at least not up to code). Thoughts, suggestions?

    http://www.wiretracks.com/inst_plasma_new.html - this website seems to have the steps I will be doing, but they are not installing an external surge protector, rather they are tapping into an existing outlet.

    Here is a skematic.

    TV -> O -> wire behind wall -> O -> SP -> Hot O

    where

    O = Outlet

    SP = Surge Protector

    TV = TV

  • 2005 F-150 Rust Proofing - to do or not to do?

    Trying to find the right answer about rust proofing I have a 2005 STX 4x4 with 15K miles on it, and I plan on keeping it for a long time (10yrs+). That being said I live in Ohio and here comes the snow and the salt.

    My 2003 Ranger Edge had the common rust at the door seems with low miles, so I plan on shooting WD40 or silicon into the doors 1 or 2 times per year. A suggestion from my body shop guy.

    But what about undercoating? I seem to get varying feedback. Does not seem many places do it anymore (only place I have found is Zeibart with mixed opinions from many - cost is $299), and a lot of people think it is not necessary with the way trucks are built now a days. So what are your thoughts? Should I undercoat? Some say it plugs drain holes, some say just to wash the under carriage weekly, some say to get rust protection. Does it void any warranties? The 2005 Ford warranty book says - "Damage caused by alteration or modification" is not covered. Thinking possibly voids the warranty. Any thoughts?

    I have searched high and low for the answer on this one. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

  • 2005 F150 bed liner maintenance - do you need to do any?

    I have a fairly new pick-up with low miles (after owning 4 older ones). this truck I plan on keeping, but now I wonder. Everyone seems to like spray in bedliners, but I like my drop in style.

    1. Do I need to remove it and clean under it now and again? (dreading this if the answer is yes as I have no idea what I might find) Or can I just leave it as is for the life of the truck? If so how often - I wonder if removing it may cause more harm than good (scratches, cracking the liner, etc.

    2. Why does this bed liner have open holes at the front of the bed for the front tie downs. The rear ones are part of the bed liner. What can I do to haul dirt and stuff without worrying about damaging under the liner? (haha - remove it and clean).

    Perhaps you have similar experience and know how to handle.

    Thanks in advance!

  • How to remove hull paint from bottom of a fibergalss sail boat, plus a few general questions finish restore?

    I recently purchased a sailboat that was kept in the water at one time. I dry dock the boat. I have been considering removing the bottom paint all together to bring the hull it back to its original condition.

    A few questions in I think hardest to easiest order -

    1. Should I even waste my time?

    2. How to remove the paint.

    3. While we are here, how do you repair cracks in the fiberglass - I think they are called spider cracks - not deep, not big. I tied my boat off to a larger boat and I think the waves cracked the gelcoat a bit.

    4. How to repair pits in the fiberglass (they could be called chips)

    5. How to repair bubbling of the fiberglass. There are a few areas where a bubble is starting to form. The bubble is about 2 mm if that.

    6. How to restore the chalky look to its original shine?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What does "Waterproof to JIS4 standards" mean? What is the standard and where is it published?

    I have a radio that is listed as waterproof/water resistant. But, how waterproof is it?

    I asked this question to the manufacturer of the marine radio, and they sent me a link to WikiPedia - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_Industrial_S... - This is not really the definitive source I need, and it does not specifically list JIS4. I also did not find JIS4 listed on the Japanese Industrial Standards website.

    Thanks in advance for your help!

  • 1990 Ford Ranger floor wet?

    I think the leak is coming from the windshield, but maybe I wil get lucky and find it is plugged drain holes. I will by spraying water oin it soon. Finally got the inside off the truck dry since we have not had rain in a few days, but it will rain tomorrow. Ideas? What is a good fix? A windshield repair place will not touch it due to rust. Was thinking silicon. Anyone have experience with Ranger leaks? Please advise!

  • How much should I sell two used hot water heaters for?

    Have 2 40 gallon used gas hot water heaters that I want to sell.

    The 1994 Craftmaster was just replaced since it was not heating up enough for my wife to take long, long bath, however it was great for showers and short baths.

    The 1990 A.O. Smith water heater came with the house, and we have never used it in 3 years. It is used and has been sitting empty. Have no more information on this one.

    Seems like a shame to just junk these things since they have to have value to someone. A new water heater is around $300-$400+. These could be a good deal for someone! But how much should I ask (we are in Ohio if pricing for whatever reason is area specific)?

    Thanks!

  • Wife is running out of hot water when taking a bath?

    We have a 40 gallon gas hot water heater that is 12 years old. Water temperature for a shower just fine, but not for my wife's bath. In the past 2 years I have drained it and filled it to try and clear any sediment. I do not think sediment is an issue since the water is flows out clear.

    Is it time for a new tank or is there a repair that we can do to our exiting tank?

  • Pocket PC - path to "mobile device" built-in storage from XP?

    Anyone know how I can make a shortcut to the built-in storage of my Dell Axim running pocket PC from Windows XP? I back-up files to the built-in storage all the time, and I am tired of dragging them to the directory. There must be a path!

    If I go to Start -> Run, then how would I access "Mobile Device" (listed under other in My Computer on XP)? From there I need to access "Built-in Storage". The path I need to access from XP is: "Mobile Device"\"My Pocket PC\"Built-in Storage\".

    Thanks!
