Check the furnace. Some will flash an error code with LEDs that may give you some indication of the problem.

On many new thermostats, the unit comes set to either perform with electric or with gas. When you have the unit opened up and you can see the internalls, There is a spot indicated with markings where you need to jump from one contact to another in the 4/5 contact cluster. You either need to make the contact with a very small guage wire, or cut the contact, depending on whether you have electric or gas. Also, if it performed A/C, it may just be that the heat wire is not hooked up correctly, check all wires and tighten contacts.

    HI,

You didn't give enough info in your question. EX: What is your heating source. (Gas, Heat Pump, Electric Heat. Did the thermostat ever work properly?)

I suggest you read the owners manual. If you do not have it you can get it here. > http://www.braeburnonline.com/manuals.html

on the stat base there is a terminal marked rh and rc there are also dip switches on the stat itself that need to be configured depending on your application

read through the manual and check to see if the jumper between rc an rh should be there and if you have the dip switches set correctly

if that dont get it....feel free to IM or email me
