Whats the most you've over spent on a game console? How did you feel when the new shipment came a month later?

Nintendo DS..

I bought the system for my game addicted husband for a birthday present and paid over $200 with 1 game and accessories

Later that year,i seen they dropped the price from $159 to 129??.

It was only a $30 difference but if I would've known they lowered the price,I would've waited

I believe my husband paid over $300 when Xbox came out in 2001 or 2002..After he got his games,Grand total came to over $500

I bought the Gameboy SP for $125 and specifically asked if something small and and better was coming out soon... they said no.... a few months later out came the SP lite. Bastards!
