Convince an Atheist! What's the best evidence you have to prove the existence of your god?
I'm looking for any evidence you can supply to prove the existence of your god or gods of any faith.
BEFORE YOU ASK! My only evidence for god(s) nonexistence is the nonexistence of evidence from theists to back up their claim. The theists make the claim that there is a god. Hearing this claim a person may or may not believe it. The burden of proof lies on the claimant.
ALSO - If belief in god(s) by a majority of the worlds population, and ancient books written by human beings were enough to convince me, I wouldn't already be an atheist.
I am open to looking at any other available evidence that may prove atheism wrong.
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoDo you think that my atheist children should learn intelligent design in public schools?
If yes, wouldn't it be fair to also teach your children the atheist position that there is/are no god/s in the same public schools?
28 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy do some Christians feel that it's O.K. to teach their faith to all non-christians in public schools?
Intelligent Design / Creationism is based on faith.
Evolution is based on science.
Why isn't learning about faith in church enough to satisfy some Christians?
15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWould Thomas Jefferson agree with the myth that America was founded as "Christian Nation"? Was he unpatriotic?
Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of Independence, and third president of the United States, once wrote
"Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between church and State."
18 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoI ask you, humbly, if there were a God, wouldn't it be obvious?

2 AnswersInternet1 decade agoshould a question be removed that receives valid answers? do valid answers validate the question?
why do some yahoo answer participants feel like they are above being offended?
i get offended sometimes but don't feel the need to cry to big brother (Yahoo).
i just answer the question in the hope of at least showing a different way of thinking or to provide evidence to the contrary.
sometimes i just give the most smart **** answer i can think of.
i've carried on too long, i'll probably be removed for chatting.
my questions remain...
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agowhich category on yahoo answers gets the most violations?
5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agowhy did yahoo violate these two valid questions? are they valid questions or would you consider them chatting?
if hitler could have accepted jesus as his personal savior, been forgiven, and allowed into heaven, does that mean that christians, who know there is a god, can do whatever they want to do as long as they repent before death? If yes, then how are their lives any different than atheists, who know there are no god(s), and therefore supposedly can do whatever they want?
10 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agois microsoft still producing new original xbox's? (not 360's)?
i found some new xbox's on amazon for $279.00 which is more than what they were going for before the 360 came out.
i can't even find them in stores.
meanwhile the playstation 2 sells for $129.00.
i imagine microsoft is no longer producing new xbox's, causing the prices to skyrocket.
will they be producing new xbox's?
i don't like buying used systems/games, $399.00 is too much to pay for a 360, and i miss my xbox that i lost in katrina.

2 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoDo Christians deserve the titles "Moral Majority", "Religious Right"? Mel Gibson? Tom Delay? Ted Haggert?
Are they really moral or right? Are they morally superior?
Mel Gibson, a Catholic (Christian without saints) was busted on a DWI, and then started cursing Jews when he was arrested.
Tom Delay, a born again Christian, and former house majority leader, traded donations for votes.
Rev. Ted Haggert led a 14,000 member church, and was the president of the evangelical association representing 30 million evangelicals. He was a valued member of the Christian evangelical leadership and was often asked his opinion by the White House. Today he admitted on camera that he bought meth from a male masseuse, bought didn't use it. Yeah right, and Bill Clinton didn't inhale. I'm sure it will soon come out that he did have sex with the male prostitute.
I'm just an atheist, but have a better grasp of ethics than any of these three "moral" Christians.
Do theists hold a monopoly on morals?
I think not.
