Is there a technical term for scientists who specialize in cloning?

    Cloning is part of molecular biology

    Thus the term "molecular biologist" would be good enough though there are scientists in overlapping disciplines, with different titles who also do cloning e.g some biochemists and (bio)chemical engineers, MDs, of course geneticists etc.

    depends on the type of cloning you are referring to.

    some of them are called fertility specialist physicians

    When they were in school they were all copycats.

    The closest I know of is a geneticist.
