How badly does this country need some serious, honest, and calm discussions about race?

We need to start with our children. Schools have become very diverse (my sons kindergarten class includes hispanic, arab, black, white, asian, ) what is really important is that we don't display any feelings of "differences" or especially any feelings of hate in front of children. Unfortunately, many adults are so set in their beliefs that we can't change their minds. Our kids are a clean slate and hatred is a learned behavior, so this is our chance to end racism for future generations.

This country,is as you very well know, steeped in racism. I don't believe it will ever go away. It is taboo and politically incorrect to discuss it anymore. I believe this is a partial part of the problem. Many people are afraid to talk about it because they will get sued, killed, or stereotyped for it. Even fired or assaulted.

This country needs to confront it though I think. It needs to take a good long look at itself in the mirror.

surely, I grew up with a black female, went to varsity such as her, grew to develop into perfect acquaintances. We shared each and every thing, we were closer than close, had secrets and techniques that we'd tell no human being, the way closest acquaintances do. there have been no limitations between us via pores and skin colour.
